Distance Selling Regulations 2016

Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. You are entitled to a seven day "cooling off" period from the date after you receive your goods. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification. To check if the item you are ordering is returnable please call our office on +1 416 410 2448 before you place an order. To cancel, you must email us or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them if item(s) are to be returned to Girmal Inc. In which case you as the customer will be expected to pay for the transport of goods back to Girmal Inc.. Once the goods have arrived back to Girmal Inc. We can issue a refund on the card which was used to purchase them, providing the goods are in the same condition in which they were sent. PLEASE NOTE: OUR PRICES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND WE UPDATE THIS WEBSITE ON A DAILY BASIS.

Our Refunds Policy

This page describes how we calculate refunds on the order placed by telephone, fax., email or online. Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights. However, once an order has been processed we charge a 25% handling fee on cancellation of any order or any special order, and also require the cancellation notice to be sent to us in writing by post or email. A "special order" is any order which has been personalised to your specification by altering a colour or measurement on your instruction, or a non-stock item that has been ordered by us from our suppliers on your behalf. These usually take approximately 4 to 14 weeks to arrive with us from the date of order. The handling fee does not apply to the carriage charge. If you wish to return goods to us after the seven day period has expired since the date of your delivery we will also charge a 25% handling fee. Refunds are sent by cheque only or a Credit Note will be issued.

Cancellation of Order

The handling charges for cancelled orders have been described above. The period of notice of cancellation we require is the same as the order time we quoted on our original acknowledgement of order and invoice or 6 weeks or whichever is the greater. Girmal Inc. reserves the right to send part orders.

Damaged goods

When goods are delivered, please check carefully on arrival that the goods and/or packaging are in good condition. If the goods and packaging are in good condition, please sign "received in good condition " accordingly. If however, there are any signs of damage, please CLEARLY mark the delivery note accordingly. If this is not done correctly, it can effect the claim with our carriers. If your goods have unfortunately been damaged in transit, we require that you notify us in writing and send us a picture or reasonable evidence of the damage. At this stage we reserve the right to offer a part refund for the damage or to replace the damaged item with a good one or to issue a refund for the item.

What is our Privacy Policy

Girmal Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name address phone number email address credit/debit card details We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. Credit & Debit Cards

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Cheques or Money Orders denominated in CAD $, USD $, British Sterling Pounds as payment for orders. If you are paying for your order using a credit or debit card you will be asked to enter your card details as part of the ordering process, and you will find further instructions when you process your first order. Your details will be kept safe and secure and will be covered by our security guarantee. Your order will be processed once we have received payment or cheque clears, and will remain open for a limited time. Please note that if we do not receive payment within 45 days your order will be cancelled.

Security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

 

Prices do not include taxes or shipping and shipping shall be paid for by the customer. For customers in the US duties, taxes, tarrifs, customs brokerage, etc are solely on the responsibility of the importer. No refunds, exchange only. NO CREDIT what-so-ever (you may speak to your bank for credit). Pay by credit card, or COD.
